Thomas Verny and John Kelly expose in this book that the fetus can see, hear, experience, taste and, in a primitive way, even learn.

Consequence of this discovery is the fact that what is felt and perceived by the fetus will define its social behavior in the future. The fundamental intervening instrument in the transmission of these initial messages is, of course, the mother.
