Auld Lang Syne, farewell but not forever…<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"DiwaliOn these days of the Diwaly\u2019s lights festival celebration, I would like to share with you <\/span>what could<\/span> be a new <\/span>breakthrough<\/span> after thorough examination by honest professionals with <\/span>scientific<\/span> vocation and conscious spirituality.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After asking different physicians about the possible origin of Alzheimer, the answers suggested that in some cases it could be due to a separation conflict, a loss, or a painful family secret. <\/span>We must point out<\/span> that separation does not necessarily <\/span>cause illness, neither are all these illness cases<\/span> the result of separation. Considering the longer life expectancy of women, we are all <\/span>aware of the case of an elder widowed woman<\/span> attending the funeral of her husband. The suffering resulting from this separation can be so acute that, in order to face it, her body develops a biological <\/span>programme<\/span> of progressive oblivion. Additionally, the progressive physical <\/span>disability<\/span> of the <\/span>woman<\/span> results in an extra <\/span>burden<\/span> for the family members and <\/span>for <\/span>society.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"The<\/span><\/span>I once <\/span>attended a special<\/span> broadcast<\/span> of the documentary <\/span>Morir de dia<\/i><\/span> (<\/span>Dying during<\/i><\/span> the day<\/i><\/span>), a film by Laia Manresa and Sergi D\u00edes, based on <\/span>an<\/span> original idea of Joaquin Jord\u00e0, which exposes how heroin <\/span>spread in<\/span> Barcelona in the decade of the 70\u2019s of the <\/span>20<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> century<\/span> and the<\/span> havoc this drug produced<\/span> among society. One of the characters, with the alias Pau Malvido, was one of the victims of this addiction. Among the attending public, <\/span>there<\/span> was a brother of his, a well known politician<\/span>, <\/span>ill with <\/span>Alzheimer, <\/span>who witnessed<\/span> the first minutes of the film. The film served as <\/span>a<\/span> tribute <\/span>for<\/span> the loss of a person that could have been the cause of the emotional distress suffered by <\/span>the politician brother<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What <\/span>is it that makes<\/span> a person feel such unbearable pain upon experiencing the loss of a beloved one? <\/span>Probably, it <\/span>is the belief that death is <\/span>a final<\/span> and eternal separation. That the loss has <\/span>no solution.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Reading the works of those practicing<\/span> Past Lives Therapy (PLT),<\/i><\/span> as well <\/span>as the<\/span> description of some cases of people who have been on the threshold between life and death, we know that the soul is eternal and that the body is just what we leave behind. Some patients can recall the deaths <\/span>in<\/span> some of their previous lives and what takes place in the period <\/span>between<\/span> lives. When the soul of the deceased moves towards the light, it is often welcomed into the spiritual dimension by the souls of those who have <\/span>been relatives<\/span> or acquaintances before <\/span>its<\/span> death. And not only that, disembodied souls can meet again and put in common their respective experiences and prepare for a new possible incarnation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If<\/span> that<\/span> widow <\/span>had known<\/span> that the soul of her deceased partner could be waiting for her in the afterlife, she would regard the separation as only physical and <\/span>temporary<\/span>. This approach <\/span>would encourage her to overcome the situation<\/span> avoiding to become at the same time a <\/span>burden for<\/span> her social environment. A higher spiritual consciousness could be a good preventive measure on these separation cases that could eventually lead to <\/span>an<\/span> Alzheimer disease.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
